Dr. Deanna Leach was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She attended Rush Prebyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, also known as Rush Medical College, where she received both Bachelor's Degree in Nursing graduating 1986, and Master's Degree in Nursing graduating 1993, in Chicago. She knew at a young age that she always wanted to be a nurse and continues to have a passion for helping people.
Dr. Leach has over 30 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, out patient and in patient care, for most of her career, she has worked closely with the geriatric population and helped them to manage their degenerative diseases. She chose to work with our team here at Buchanan Health Center, because she believes in our integrated approach to health care, emphasizing wellness and prevention of diseases. She is passionate about regenerative medicine and believes it is the future of healthcare.
Dr. Leach moved to Florida to be closer to her parents. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, boating, and enjoying nature. She is also passionate about animal rescue and believes that as a society, we should all be responsible for the health and well-being of animals.
