Dr. Buchanan, DC, PA was raised in Lake County, FL.  He attended the University of Miami for his undergrad and obtained his graduate degree at Life University in Atlanta, GA. After graduating, Dr. Buchanan decided to open a family chiropractic practice in Leesburg, FL.

Dr. Buchanan believes in the holistic approach to health care. Chiropractic care is a necessity to help people of all ages live and maintain a healthy lifestyle without the use of drugs. With this philosophy and his personalized treatment plans, Dr. Buchanan has built a successful practice over the last 20 years.

Health care has evolved over these 23 years, and Dr. Buchanan has seen the need for patients to have a “one-stop” shop for their health care in Lake County.  One of those needs would be a blend of holistic and traditional medicine. In 2014, he decided to expand into a newly renovated 4,000 sq. ft. medical building to include family medical along with chiropractic care for his patients. 

Dr. Buchanan gives back to the community by dedicating time serving on the boards of Hospice, working closely with schools in the community, and provides assistance to clinics that are entering or trying to keep up with the ever changing health industry . Buchanan Health Center sponsors and donates to various causes in the community and is the treating doctor for many local schools.  Half the funds collected for the school physicals are donated back to the supporting athletic departments.

In his spare time, Dr. Buchanan enjoys fishing, spending time at the beach with his family and traveling.  Dr. Buchanan and his wife have two beautiful daughters ages 13 and 8.
